Stretch of sharp snow in the Andes

A unique sights you can see when visiting the Andes Mountains in the Americas. This long mountain snow was filled with odd-shaped, pointed like a knife. Locals call it Penitentes.
Andes is the longest in the world's mountains, which form a series of highland along the western coast of South America. Curious how long? Apparently more than 7,000 km with a width of 500 km. Wow!

Penitentes at the peak of the Andes can you see in various sizes, ranging from a few centimeters, to the size of a human being. If you see the Penitentes much higher than human size, you might have met with the Penitentes of the largest in the Andes that reach 5 feet.
